Hi -- thanks for stopping by. My name is Meher.

I am a graduate of Cornell University where I studied communication and environmental sustainability. As a journalist, I am  most interested in stories of climate, global development, equity —— and intersections between these topics.

I currently do curation at TED.

As a journalist, my work has appeared in award-winning magazines such as The Nation, The New Yorker, and Living Bird.

I also oversee all production of The Good City  ——  a new urbanization and solutions-focused podcast by the Cornell Art, Architecture, and Planning School’s Mui Ho Center for Cities.

Outside of journalism, I really love:
- expanding my music taste

- trying to get better at playing my favorite songs on the electric guitar
- learning to cook new recipes as a life-long vegetarian
- capturing memories on eBay fujifilm cameras
- sitting outside in the sun
