Hi -- thanks for stopping by. My name is Meher.

I am a recent graduate at Cornell University where I studied communication and environmental sustainability. More specifically, I concentrated in climate change, food insecurity, and policy.

Most recently, I was a writing fellow for The Nation, focusing on climate change and U.S. climate policy. You can read some of my long-form investigative journalism for them here. I’ve also written for other award-winning magazines such as Living Bird and California Magazine.

This past year I was the audio producer intern for the Council on Foreign Relation’s Why It Matters. Currently, I oversee all production of The Good City  ——  a new podcast about urbanization by the Cornell Art, Architecture, and Planning School’s Mui Ho Center for Cities.

Outside of journalism, I really love:
- expanding my music taste

- trying to get better at playing my favorite songs on the electric guitar
- learning to cook new recipes as a life-long vegetarian
- capturing memories on eBay fujifilm cameras
- sitting outside in the sun
