Hi -- thanks for stopping by. My name is Meher.

I am a graduate of Cornell University where I studied communication and environmental sustainability. As a journalist, I am  most interested in stories of climate change, global development, equity —— and intersections between these topics.

I currently do curation at TED. I also recently spent the summer as a production assisatant at Oregon Public Broadcasting’s flagship public affairs radio show, Think Out Loud. You can find my author page here.

As a journalist, my work has appeared in award-winning magazines such as The Nation, The New Yorker, and Living Bird.

In addition, oversee all production of The Good City  ——  a new urbanization and solutions-focused podcast by the Cornell Art, Architecture, and Planning School’s Mui Ho Center for Cities.

Outside of journalism, I really love:
- expanding my music taste

- trying to get better at playing my favorite songs on the electric guitar
- learning to cook new recipes as a life-long vegetarian
- making kitchenware and other such useful things out of clay ; the possibilities are endless!
- capturing memories on eBay fujifilm digital cameras  and also disposable fujifilm cameras
- sitting outside in the sun
